Lackaroe is a quaint country cottage which is in keeping with the beautiful unspoiled countryside. It stands on its own grounds in a tranquil rural setting on the eastern shores of Lough Derg. Lovingly restored, the old world charm of thick walls and small windows have been combined with modern comforts. The old style two-tiered garden features a corbelled well. It is ideally located for exploring the west, south and east.

The cottage has oil central heating and an open fire. It is charmingly furnished with traditional style hand crafted pine and co-ordinated with pretty soft furnishings. Bord Failte 3 stars.
